Smart City Guide web app - User Testing Experience

Next Monday, the 19th of May, from 17:00pm to 19:00pm, i2CAT Foundation will carry out an experiment with volunteers to test the web Service Smart City Guide of FOKUS. It is a Service that aims to bring closer touristic and leisure activities and to allow users to get personalized recommendations based on your preferences about points of interest and several kinds of events (culture, leisure, gastronomy, sports, etc.)

Big success of TV-RING project’s first workshop, “An outlook on future HbbTV-Services”

On the 7th of May, the TV-RING project carried out its first workshop as part of the Media Web Symposium, in collaboration with Fraunhofer FOKUS. The workshop was followed by 30 participants from the Broadcasting and Media industry, who took this unique opportunity to know in first-hand the initial results obtained with users in the TV-RING project, and actively contribute in defining the future of HbbTV services.

Launching the application “Augmented Terrassa”

On May 7th took place in mNACTEC of Terrassa (National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia), the presentation of the new application developed by the i2CAT, "Augmented Terrassa", a new application for mobile phones and tablets that offers a journey through Terrassa’s industrial and modernist buildings supported with the technology of Augmented Reality.
