i2CAT participates in a new TNA

Thanks to Visionair project (EC FP7 Grant Agreement 262044) and its creative transnational actions (TNA), telecommunication engineers from the i2CAT Audiovisual Unit and artists and creative within the performing arts and dance at the Université de Strasbourg (UFR des Arts danse) will meet in Barcelona to run multiple experiments with distributed environments to bring to a higher level the performing arts using multiconference system, multimedia transmissions and network scenarios.

Innovation and cooperation with SME: i2CAT and the WIDER project

European population is getting older, and ageing trend presents numerous social changes and challenges, for which adequate solutions need to be found. The European Union, through the MED Programme and the local support of ACCIÓ, is co-financing the WIDER project, “Green groWing SMEs: Innovation and Development in the energy sector in mEd aRea”, with the main goal to address the ageing trend and related social changes and challenges it presents, by using an innovative approach.

Grants for differential transversal technologies outsourcing

Tecnobons are grants of up € 3.000 for small businesses interested in receiving support services for innovation from technological centers like i2CAT. If you are a small business, you can receive technological support from i2CAT. The Government of Catalonia has launched the program Tecnobons[1], managed by ACCIÓ and oriented to companies between 6 and 49 employees, with the aim of promoting technological innovation and improve business ties with the technological centers in Catalonia.
